Thornton Primary and Infant School, established in 1951 in northeast St. Elizabeth, serves 215 students with 12 teachers and 6 support staff. Despite efforts from stakeholders the school faces challenges from poor water supply and socio-economic hardships. Meals provided daily and additional welfare support for needy students.
