St. Michaels Primary is located close to the Tower Street adult correctional facility. With an history entrenched in crime and violence. Moving from a failing school with 98 students to a satisfactory grade by the NEI team with an increased population of 307. Both literacy and numeracy rates have increased by over100%.

  • Use of Funds: Cookouts and cake sales are two of the main fundraising initiative being used in order to re tile classroom and principals' office. Over time the tiles in principal's office have been broken causing impending harm to students and teacher alike. The staffroom as well is still not completed even though sponsors came on board to assist.
