Edwin Allen High School, located in rural North West Clarendon, primarily serves students from upper Clarendon, with others from Manchester, St. Ann, and Trelawny. The nearby community of Frankfield Proper has basic services such as a Post Office, Police Station, and Fire Station, but most students live in agrarian areas with little commercial activity. This environment has shaped a school culture rooted in modest means, where many parents are often unemployed, farmers, or minimum-wage earners struggle to provide consistent support. A small number of students live with relatives due to parents residing overseas, and family structures vary widely.

• Use of Funds: The school will allocate these funds to enhance the overall quality and functionality of the Guidance Department by upgrading the flooring and providing additional seating. These improvements will ensure a more welcoming and professional environment that adequately accommodates counselors, students, and parents during counseling sessions. By creating a space that is both comfortable and conducive to meaningful dialogue, the department will be better positioned to support the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students while fostering stronger collaboration with families.
