The Coopers Hill Primary School and Infant is situated 12 km southeast of Port Antonio in a farming community. Its board structure was was established in 1910. Due to the poor road conditions and its remoteness , students living as far as 2 km, walk to and from school on a daily basis.

Priority Needs

$1000- breakfast programme, $1500 - Treat termite infestation, $2,500 putty out and paint interior of building- including the ceiling; $3000- complete perimeter fencing; $2000- Erect partitions for classrooms.

Awards/Honors

In 2024, 66.7% of the Grade 4 students mastered Literacy and numeracy. In 2025, 100 % of the same cohort (Grade 5) were proficient in Language Arts.
