Frankfield Primary & Infant School

The school was established in 1881 by the Methodist Church and presently serves students age 3 to 12 years. Many of the community members are farmers or day workers. The area has been heavily mined for bauxite and since the closer of one plant economic growth in the communities which feed the school has been significantly affected.

• Use of Funds: The school is always seeking to find ways to provide nutritious and cost effective meal options to the children and the kitchen equipment required will assist with this. The provision of printed activities assist with the teaching and learning experience. Parents assist were possible but printing each week is quite costly.
