Thornton Primary and Infant School, established in 1951 in northeast St. Elizabeth, serves 215 students with 12 teachers and 6 support staff. Despite efforts from stakeholders the school faces challenges from poor water supply and socio-economic hardships. Meals provided daily and additional welfare support for needy students.

1.Reiforcement of canteen structure after 2020 earthquaken2. Windows for 2 classrooms. n6. resurfacing of 1 classroom floor

A very large percentage of students were able to attain grades in the PEP Exit Exams to earned them first or second choice schools.
